World AIDS Day, December 1st, is not a day that is taken as seriously in the West as it is in Africa where AIDS continues to leave children orphaned. Nancy Kitaka, working with the charity Embrace will make a difference to that when they host a number of events to mark the World AIDS Day at West Green Tavern in Seven Sisters. The day's program will include facilitators and health experts who will be there to answer questions relating to AIDS/HIV including general sexual health and living positively with HIV. There will also be a host of live music performances and speeches from Miss Uganda UK™ 2011 Shakillah Nabakooza & her right hand princess Patricia Nyamata.

Miss Uganda UK™ 2011 1st Princess Patricia Nyamata will be participating in the 5K Red Run in support of Positive East for WORLDS AIDS Day 2011. The run will take place on Sunday 27th November at 11.00am in Clapham, South London.
